WAKE AEYC Board members
Wake aeyc seeks to be continually informed by the wisdom of diversity and to become a more high-performing, inclusive organization. As such, the Association is committed to maintaining a Board composition reflecting diversity in ethnicity, professional experience, gender, age, and geographic area.
New Board members are inducted at the in May of each year. The Board’s responsibilities are listed below.
- Annually review and approve the organization's funding plans, including annual financial goals and budget.
- Review and approve program and organizational policies.
- Approve and/or participate in fundraising strategies and/or activities.
- Actively participate on an assigned committee:; Finance& Governance; Membership Relations; Public Policy; or Programs and Services.
